TRS Poll Campaign Intensifies In Andole
Sangareddy: Pledging their support to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) candidate from Andole constituency, Chani Kranthi Kiran, the pink party workers took out a massive motorcycle rally from Thadmanur and Aksanpalli villages in Andole mandal in the district here on Sunday. Amid chanting of slogans, a huge group of party workers, headed to Edupayala in the mandal after a TRS contestant flagged off the rally.
A journalist by profession, Kranthi Kiran was preferred as the TRS candidate from Andole over sitting MLA Babu Mohan, who later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after being denied the TRS ticket. Babu Mohan, a four-time MLA from the SC-reserved constituency, was not included in the TRS list of 105 contestants announced on September 6 by caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) immediately after dissolving the Legislative Assembly.
In the December 7 Telangana elections, TRS candidate Kranthi Kiran will lock horns with former Deputy CM Damodar Rajanarasimha of the Congress and former MLA Babu Mohan from Andole. Watch this space for more updates on Telangana elections 2018.
