Nizamabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha today predicted that that the upcoming Assembly elections would be a one-sided affair in favour of TRS and that a public meeting at Nizamabad by caretaker Chief Minister KCR would create a TRS wave in the region. Speaking to media here today, she said that the Congress and the Telugu Desam Parties went against their ideologies by striking an alliance.
Kavitha said that it was unethical on part of the TDP, which was formed on the basis of an anti-congress ideology, to strike an alliance with rivals. "How can the people accept the Congress-TDP alliance when the leaders of the two parties are not in terms with it? The people of Telangana will reject the unethical alliance in the elections," the MP predicted.
No TRS Involvement In Revanth Reddy Case
The Nizamabad MP said that the TRS had nothing to do with the Income Tax raids against Congress working president Revanth Reddy. Special teams which arrived from Delhi have raided Revanth Reddy's residences and offices across Hyderabad and Kodangal simultaneously yesterday. "The State government is in no way related to the IT raids," she clarified.
