A 19-year-old girl has sold her virginity for USD 3 million. Yes, you read it right and this actually happened in the US.

The woman identified as Giselle auctioned herself through German escort website Cinderella Escorts. The highest bidder, Abu Dhabi-based businessman won her virginity for a whopping USD 2.9 million. The next highest bidder was a Hollywood actor who was ready to shell out USD 2.8 million. Giselle considers this a pleasant surprise and says she never thought so much money could be raised.

The American teen would spend the money for her higher studies, buy a plush home and will go globe-trotting. Many women have also condemned her act. But Giselle justified her action. "The fact that women can do what they want with their bodies and have the courage to live their sexuality freely sets a sign for emancipation," she said and added that it is her decision if she wants to spend her first time with someone who is not her love.

The German escort made headlines worldwide in 2016 after an 18-year-old Romanian model, Aleexandra Khefren, sold her virginity for 2.3 million euros to a Hong Kong businessman.
