TDP's attempt to erect a pylon to mark the completion of chief Chandrababu Naidu's 'Vastunna Meekosam' padayatra in Vizag has invited criticisms from all quarters. Objections are being raised against the move.
According to sources, TDP leaders have planned to erect a big pylon to mark the the end of Naidu padayatra and also celebrate his birthday on April 20 in the Port City.
It is learnt that revenue officials have objected to the construction as the place is a part of a steel plant. But the TDP workers claim that the place belongs to their party leader, who's the former mayor of Rajahmundry.
The pylon row has made the TDP leaders anxious as the date of Naidu padayatra completion is only a week away.
