Sub-Inspector Arrested For Harassing Girl For Sex 

Vizag: A reserve sub-inspector working in Greyhounds team in Vijayawada has been arrested by Vizag police on Thursday on the charges of forcing a girl to have sex with him. The girl, a resident of Kapparada in Kancharapalem police limits, lodged a complaint with the police that the SI GVN Prasad was harassing her to have sex with him for last three days.

The girl's friend was missing for a week and the SI was threatening that he would implicate her in friend's murder case if she wouldn't give in to his desire. He found her address and went to her place at night and behaved in an indecent manner. She somehow escaped from him and approached police with the help of neighbors.

The SI was arrested after registering a case of criminal intimidation and sexual assault. Further investigation is on.
