The second day of monsoon session of Parliament witnessed uproarious scenes with the Seemandhra MPs protesting in both the houses against the Centre's announcement to carve out a separate Telangana state out of AP.
Soon after the session began, Seemandhra MPs raised slogans demanding justice for the state. Holding placards, the MPs rushed to the Speaker's podium demanding a discussion on the Telangana issue.
It is learnt that Sonia Gandhi assured the Seemandhra Congress MPs to give them a patient hearing but asked them not to surround Speaker's podium. With this, the MPs went back their seats and continued to protest from there.
