Security stepped up in city for Eid

Over thousands of security force personnel-including commandos, are
being deployed in Hyderabad to ensure a peaceful Eid-ul-Fitr in the city, especially in and around the Masjids where Muslims gather for namaz, police said on Monday.

From Sunday night, the city police and traffic police personnel have been spread  across the city to secure important places as well as entry and exit points at busy areas. All Masjids and crowded areas are under the scanner of the police.
The police are also conducting intensive drives in various places across the city in the wake of the rumors which has created a panic situation across India.
