SCR cancels train due to cyclonic conditions

A train was cancelled and another diverted due to cyclonic conditions prevailing in the East Coast region, South Central Railway said here on Monday.

Train no 22872 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Weekly Express scheduled to depart Tirupati at 1245 hours today is cancelled, a release issued by SCR said.
Train no 18646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express, which departed Hyderabad at 1000 hours today, is diverted to run via Kazipet, Ballarshah, Nagpur and Jarshuguda.
Yesterday also, several trains running along the east coast were partially cancelled or diverted due to cyclone 'Phailin'.
