
The Supreme Court issued an interim stay on the declaring of municipal results of the state.
The apex court postponed further trail on the same to April 7. It asked the state election commission to give its reply before the date.
It may be recalled that High Court gave the green signal for counting of votes and declaration of results on April 9.
One person filed a petition in the supreme court asking it to postpone the declaration of results as there is a chance of these results influencing the outcome of the elections for state assembly and Lok Sabha.
Accepting the petition, Supreme court issued a stay on the same.
