Samantha Dons Rustic Look For Rangasthalam

Hyderabad: Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in a rural girl avatar in upcoming film Rangasthalam, a romantic drama set in 1980s.

"Audience will be surprised by her makeover. She will be seen in a rural girl's avatar. Throughout the film you will see her in sari. She is in love with her look as it's something very new for her," a source from the film unit said.

Directed by Sukumar, the film also stars Ram Charan, Aadi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu. "Both Ram Charan and Samantha are going to be in never-seen-before avatars. Ram Charan sports a thick beard and even got tanned to play the part," the source added.

The film's shoot is currently underway in remote areas of East Godavari district and later it will be shifted to Hyderabad where grand sets are being erected. The music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
