Rs 1 lakh bounty announced on Chintu's head

Chittoor: Police on Friday announced Rs. 1 lakh bounty for anyone giving information regarding the whereabouts of Chandrasekhar alias Chintu, the main accused in the murder of Chittoor mayor Katari Anuradha and her husband Mohan.

Chintu is the nephew of the murdered couple. The accused allegedly killed his uncle and his mayor wife with the help of four others on Tuesday.

Rayalaseema range officer RP Thakur, who is investigating the sensational murder case, visited the murder spot on Friday.

While the police earlier announced the arrest of two in connection with the murder, it's learnt that the main accused Chintu has also been nabbed and will be shown on records on Saturday.
