Ravi Teja’s Amar Akbar Antony Muhurat

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is back in work mode. He was last seen in Touch Chesi Chudu which didn't ring the bells at the box office. He is gearing up for another flick titled Amar Akbar Anthony.

It will be directed by Sreenu Vaitla and the makers of the movie have loved Anu Emmanuel stellar performance in Power star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi and have roped her to play a lead lady role in the film. While launching the film, they have clarified that this Telugu film will not have any kind of connections to Manmohan Desai's 1977 comedy featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor.

Director Sreenu Vaitla stated to leading tabloid "I am very excited to work with my hero Ravi Teja. Seed for this film Amar Akbar Anthony was sown a year back. A simple one-minute idea was expanded into a full-fledged script with ten months of hard work by my team members. This is one of the back bending and exhaustive script I ever worked on. Ravi Teja and my producers felt that the script has come out extraordinary.”

Director Sreenu even said, “Entire 100 per cent shoot is planned in the United States and just a meagre 10 days of production will be done in India. Locations like New York, Detroit, Salt Lake City and many more are to be covered in the forthcoming schedules. None of the Indian movies are shot so extensively in US which promises to be a treat for movie lovers.

Thanks to my producers and their wide network in USA made these schedules a reality. After succeeding as a hero with many hit films to his credit, Sunil is joining our team as a full-length comedy artist in this flick while yesteryear heroine Laya, her daughter Shloka are also a part of this film. One more highlight of Amar Akbar Anthony will be Ravi Teja’s son Mahadhan in a superb role.”
