President Pranab Mukherjee to offer prayers at Tirumala on Friday

Tirupati: President Pranab Mukherjee will offer prayers at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on December 25.Before visiting the shrine, Mukherjee would inaugurate a Rs 25-crore Veda Patasala built by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at Ai Bhimavaram in west Godavari district, TTD Chairman Chadalavada Krishnamurthy said.

After inaugurating the school, the President would arrive in the afternoon by an IAF aircraft for offering prayers at the shrine.
