President Pranab Mukharjee Inaugurates Osmania University Centenary Celebrations 

Hyderabad: President Pranab Mukharjee on Wednesday inaugurated the centenary celebrations of Osmania University.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Pranab called for enhancement of quality in education and research on the campuses across the country. He called upon the industry to come forward to fund academic and research activities as they can help produce quality talent. He also emphasized the need for establishment of more IITs and NITs in the country.

President wished the students of Osmania all success in their careers.

Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiyam Srihari and Mahmood Ali and several other dignitaries participated. Vice Chancellor Prof. S. Ramachandram felicitated the guests on the occasion.
