It appears that the notes for votes case has gathered momentum after the Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate raids on the houses of Revanth Reddy, his relatives and associates. It is pertinent to point out that the task force police questioned Ranadhir Reddy, a close relative of Udaya Simha, Revanth Reddy's associate who had been summoned by the authorities earlier. It is learned that the cops seized a hard disk and other incriminating material from Ranadhir Reddy, who was later let off on station bail.
Interestintly, Randhir Reddy while addressing the media, revealed that Udaya Simha had handed over to him a cover with a hard disk and a key claiming to be that of his mother's bank locker. Further he claimed innocence with regard to the case in which he was being questioned. Ranadhir Reddy further said that Udaya Simha was a family friend of his and that he was not aware of the contents of the hard disk given to him. Randhir said that the police had issued a notice seeking an explanation from him within three days.
Some of the important unanswered questions in the case are...
