YSRCP senior leader and MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy strongly criticized the high-handed behavior of the police while force-shifting fasting party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Guntur General Hospital. He said the police did not accord the respect that the leader of the Opposition rightly deserves.
“This is nothing but cruel murder of democracy. He was taken like an ordinary patient in a stretcher. The cops did not follow the protocol,” he said while speaking to the mediapersons after the shifting of YS Jagan to GGH.
He further said that YS Jagan would continue his deeksha at the hospital and that he was still refusing to take fluids. “The police behavious is high-handed and insensitive. They descended when everyone was fast asleep. Jagan was woken up from sleep and cable and TV wires were cut before lifting him up,” Chevireddy said.
