Union Central Minister Balram Naik on Monday said that the Polavaram project will not be completed even in next 100 years.
Speaking to reporters in Hanumakonda, Naik said that Telangana leaders will not accept Centre's plan of merging some high risk villages with Seemandhra. "Polavaram cannot be completed if the design is not changed," he added.
Earlier in the day, Union Minister Jairam Ramesh had asserted that Polavaram is to Seemandhra what Hyderabad is to Telangana.
