Only Sunny Leone Is Bold Enough To Play Meena Kumari?

Mumbai: Remember 'Tragedy Queen' Meena Kumari? A biopic is on the cards on the yesteryear actress and if you are wondering who will play her role on the reel screen here's what we learnt. Actress Sunny Leone is the top contender to play Meena Kumari in the latter's biopic. Interestingly, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, were approached by filmmaker Karan Razdan to play the role. But both turned down the offer and it then went to Sunny, who immediately said yes.

The director says that unlike Vidya and Madhuri, I think she's the only only one who is courageous enough to have said to me, 'When can we start this film?' said the director. Sunny was quite enthusiastic about the role, but he still had apprehensions. "She is excited about the role but I don't consider her ideal. May be she sees it as big chance to cement her position." We have to wait for the official confirmation. But as of now it's Sunny's name making the rounds.
