'Only one person is responsible for Congress's death in AP'

TRS MLA K.T.Rama Rao, on Wednesday, slammed AICC president Sonia Gandhi.

Speaking to the reporters at Telangana Bhavan, he said, “Congress party gave Telangana after 1,200 people laid down their lives. For that, Sonia Gandhi has to apologise to the people of Telangana first and then explain the reasons for the delay in her Karimnagar public meeting.”

“Congress is dead in Andhra because of one person. They gave Telangana only for political opportunism,” said KTR.

He challenged Telangana PCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah for a discussion on who cheated Telangana.

“Various surveys are predicting the defeat of Rahul Gandhi in these elections. Why should you vote for such a party?” asked KTR.

He demanded special status for Telangana, like the one given to Andhra Pradesh.

He also called Union Minister and member of Group of Ministers on Telangana Jairam Ramesh, as foolish.
