NTR’s Son Jailed In Cheque Bounce Case

Former CM NTR's eldest son and close relative of present chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, Nandamuri Jayakrishna has been sentenced to six months imprisonment and a penalty of Rs 25 lakh in a cheque bounce case. The verdict was pronounced by the Yerram Manzil Court on Wednesday.

Jayakrishna is an accused in a dispute pertaining to the lease of parking and management of canteen in Ramakrishna Theatre of Abids. One of the cheques issued by him in connection with the dispute had bounced and the victims had sought reprieve from the court.
