No Pawan impact, says Chiranjeevi

“The Congress debacle is not due to Pawan Kalyan effect,” said Pawan’s elder brother and Congress leader Chiranjeevi.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Monday, he admitted that there was anti-Congress wave.

It may be recalled that Pawan Kalyan had campaigned vigorously for BJP in the just-concluded general elections.

Speaking to reporters in the same meet, Andhra Pradesh PCC president Raghuveera Reddy said, “Farmers in the state are in a big confusion over the loan waiver promise of Chandrababu Naidu.  Chandrababu Naidu has to fulfill this election promise.” “A loan amount of about Rs. 80,000 crores has to be waived off in Andhra Pradesh,” reminded Raghuveera Reddy.

He said that neither Governor nor the government officials had talked to bankers over the issue till now.

“If the loans are not waived off, the agriculture in the state will be badly hit,” said the former minister.

He said that he was reminding the same to governor and Chandrababu Naidu.
