That's What Nagarjuna Sir Told Me When Dhootha Was Announced: Vikram Kumar

Director Vikram Kumar seems to have changed the pattern of his working style. The director of Ishq, Manam, and Hello fame has now made a web series(Dhootha). This is his first long-form for the digital industry. 

The supernatural thriller features Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in the lead role and it also marks his debut on OTT. In his latest interview, Vikram revealed a few interesting things about the series(Dhootha). When he was asked about what Nagarjuna told him before the commencement of the series' shoot, the Thank You director said, "Nagarjuna Sir just said all the best. Nothing more than that." 

He further added that he had some incredible moments on set shooting for the pre-climax and climax segments.

The show, to be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from December 1, is an 8-episode series. "Don't expect jump scares and all. This is not a typical horror series. This is a supernatural one wherein Chay plays the role of a journalist. The shoot took place in 2022. After the shoot, prolonged post-production work took place. Each episode ends with a climactic cliffhanger. It was like making 2-3 movies," Vikram said.
