Renowned screenwriter Jonathan Nolan has shared his admiration for Indian filmmakers, particularly the makers of the highly anticipated sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. Known for his work on the Fallout series and as the brother of acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, expressed his awe for the practical and on-location approach employed by Indian filmmakers.

When asked about how to craft a successful sci-fi film like Kalki 2898 AD, Jonathan Nolan shared his insights. I don't have much good advice for the amazing filmmakers here!" Nolan said. "I reckon Bollywood nowadays prefers practical shooting over Hollywood."

The filmmaker noted that the focus on in-camera stunts and on-location photography in Indian cinema is truly commendable. "We choose to delve into science fiction with some of our projects because it's exciting to speculate about the future and express our ideas about how the world could evolve," Nolan added.

Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, is one of the most anticipated releases of 2024. The science fiction action film set in a dystopian world stars a powerhouse ensemble, including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and Deepika Padukone.
