TSRTC Introduces Snack Box, Check The Price Of It
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation(TSRTC) will be providing a 'snack box' along with the bus ticket to the passengers who are travelling long distances in AC buses. The new initiative being implemented today i.e. Saturday, May 27, 2023, in nine electric e-Garuda buses plying on the Hyderabad-Vijaywada route.
The TSRTC corporation will extend its services depending on the response. According to TSRTC, the corporation is already providing a water bottle to passengers.
“The snack box contains namkeen and chikki packets along with a mouth freshener and a piece of tissue paper. TSRTC has fixed a nominal price of Rs 30 in the ticket rate for the snack box,” said a senior officer at TSRTC.
“TSRTC is moving forward with innovative programs to reach out to the people. As part of that, it was decided to give snack boxes to travelers,” said TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan.
“Considering passenger feedback, changes and additions will be made and extended to the rest of the services,” said TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar.
