Telangana Govt Turns Hyderabad Gandhi Hospital Into Dedicated COVID Care Centre

Corona second wave is spreading across Telangana state. The government declared On Saturday that Gandhi Hospital will be completely dedicated to Covid care center across the state.

From today, all the casual, emergency, and outpatient services will be stopped at the Gandhi Hospital. The elective surgeries that were scheduled are also said to have been postponed in various departments.

As per details, till now, 450 covid patients are in critical condition and they need ICU, ventilator care at Gandhi Hospital. On Thursday, 150 Covid patients were admitted to Gandhi Hospital. This made the health officials declare Gandhi Hospital as Covid Center.

It is also known that Gandhi Hospital was also an exclusive covid care center when the first wave of coronavirus hit the state.
