KCR Performs Puja At Kondapochamma Sagar

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao along with his wife participated in special puja at Kondapochamma Sagar pump house on Friday. The couple arrived at the Kondapochamma temple which is 30 kilometers away from the project site at 7.00 am and took part in 'Chandi Homam' which is performed on the occasion of the release of water into the reservoir. 

The Chief Minister offered “Poornahuti” indicating the successful completion of the 'homam'. Finance Minister T Harish Rao, Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy, Prashanth Reddy, TRS MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy accompanied KCR at Kondapochamma temple. After the completion of Poornahuti, KCR went to his farmhouse in Erravelli.

KCR inaugurated Rythu Vedika at Erravelli and Markook. He welcomed Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. KCR will participate in the 'Sudarshan Homam' which is taking place at the pump house. Later, he will switch on the two motors at the pump house after 11.30 am and release Godavari water into the Kondapochamma reservoir.
