February 11 Holiday Declared in These Telangana Districts Ahead of Municipal Polling

The District Collector of Nalgonda has declared a two-day holiday for all schools, colleges and educational institutions in the district in view of the upcoming municipal election polling. According to official orders, February 13 and 14, 2026 will be observed as holidays to help facilitate smooth election-related activities and ensure a peaceful environment for voters and officials.

The decision has been taken to support students and citizens during the election process, allowing educators and staff to participate in or support the electoral duties without disruption to academic schedules. Authorities have also said this break may offer students and families some leisure time during the mid-week holiday.

The move aims to create a calm and orderly atmosphere in the district while enabling teachers, government employees, and other staff to engage fully in election duties or exercise their right to vote.
