Hyderabad: Traffic Restrictions in Alwal From June 13 For Drain Works: Check Road Diversions

There will be traffic restrictions in the area near Sree Bakery at Bharathi Nagar junction over a period of 30 days beginning June 13 in the view of the construction work of a box drain. So the traffic from the Alwal IG statue to Golnaka Meeseva will be diverted by select Theatre – Professor Jayashankar Statue – Rajiv Rahadhari right turn – Golnaka Meeseva. The traffic from Golnaka Meeseva towards the Alwal IG statue will be diverted from Jayashankar Statue via Rajiv Rahadhari's left turn – select Theatre – Alwal IG statue. The Cyber Traffic Police requested citizens to cooperate and take alternate routes if possible.
 
Earlier, Hyderabad city police imposed a traffic restriction for 45 days from April 24 to June 4 due to bridge work at the Picket Nala near Karachi Bakery in Rasoolpura, Begumpet, and at Minister Road in Secunderabad. Anyway, Hyderabad police extended the traffic restriction period for another few days as work is still going on.
