Jumping into Congress? Etela Rajender Responds!

Hyderabad: Amid speculations of his crossing over to the Congress, the Telangana BJP leader and former minister Etela Rajender issued a clarification on Saturday. Rajender dismissed the reports that he met with former BRS minister Patnam Mahender Reddy and Congress leader Mynampally Hanumanth Rao. 

Political circles were abuzz with the talk of Rajender quitting from BJP after a photo of him meeting with the Congress leaders was widely circulated on social media. In the recently held Telangana Assembly elections, Rajender contested from Huzurabad segment but he was defeated by the BRS candidate P Kaushik Reddy. 

Meanwhile, Mansoorabad corporator Narsimha Reddy stated that the photo was taken at a house warming ceremony and it was a social meeting and no politics were discussed at the ceremony. He also dismissed the buzz around Rajender’s resignation from the saffron party.
