Hemant Sikka, the president of Farm Equipment Sector posted a picture on his Twitter and wrote, "Delighted to visit Tractor Mahindra plant in Zaheerabad #telangana world-class tractors being produced in this plant, ready to be exported across the world. Our team is excited & looking forward to our most ambitious K2 project coming in #telangana."

To this post, KTR responded, "The ambitious K2 project is something we are looking forward to as well Mr. Sikka." He thanked Anand Mahindra for the continuous support and the expansion of the project in Telangana.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) said that it is going to manufacture its new tractor series K2 exclusively at its Zaheerabad facility in Telangana. The new K2 series is Mahindra's most ambitious lightweight tractor programme. The new series will enable Mahindra to introduce products across four new tractor platforms, in the sub-compact, compact, small utility, and large utility tractor categories, covering 37 models across various HP points.
