A four-match Test series between India and Australia is set to start on February 9 at Nagpur. For the first Test match, skipper Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid are facing difficulties in making the final 11. Aside from the batting and bowling combinations, India faces a significant wicketkeeping issue. It is known that Rishabh Pant is not playing because of an accident, but the major question is: who will be the wicketkeeper?

Who will make the playing XI with KL Rahul, KS Bharat, and Ishan Kishan in the squad? In the past year or two, KL Rahul has had a number of injuries. As per reports, management doesn't want to take the risk of keeping KL Rahul as a wicketkeeper as he had injuries. So, specialist keepers are required for the test.

KS Bharat and Ishan Kishan are the team's two members. The team management will determine who to pick. As per Insidesport, KS Bharat is likely to get the nod since Kishan is the clear favourite for wickets in white-ball cricket.

KS Bharat secured a place in the Indian team for the first time in the Test series against New Zealand in 2021. But he did not get a place on the final team. But Bharat, who came in as a substitute in the second Test, impressed everyone with his wicket-keeping skills. Similarly, Bharat got a place in the recent Test series against Bangladesh. But he was reserved for the bench for two matches as well.
