15 Mar, 2024 10:29 IST|Sakshi Post

Save The Tigers is back with its sequel. The series features Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Abhinav Gomatam, Krishna Chaitanya, Srikanth Iyengar, Gangavva, Jordar Sujatha, Venu Yeldandi and Harsha Vardhan in the lead roles. Currently, Save The Tigers season 2 is streaming on Disney plus Hotstar. Here’s the review:

Story: The series begins with cops questioning Vikram (Chaitanya Krishna), Rahul (Abhinav Gomatam), and Ganta Ravi (Priyadarshi) about the heroine Hamsaleka.

The cops beat them in the missing case of Hamsalekha. The cops show them a video of them tricking her at a star hotel. The news reports say that the trio killed her.

The trio says to police that Hamsalekha had attended a party and that they are innocent. The police release them after hearing their story. What happens after Vikram, Rahul and Ganta Ravi come out of the police station?

Why did their wives go to Spandana (Sathya Krishna), a counseller? Why does the local MLA promise a Corporator ticket to Ravi? Will Ravi buy a dream house for his wife in a gated community?

Why does Vikram’s wife Rekha (Deviana Sharma) want to stop pursuing Law? Who is Harika (Darshan Banik) who comes between Rahul and Madhuri (Pavani Gangireddy)? How do the three couples fight over their respective issues?

Analysis: Save The Tigers tells what you see in the news without fact-checking could mislead you. We believe in the news that is telecast about innocent celebrities. People believe the news as the gospel truth, as they don’t have the time to fact-check.

Showrunner Mahi V Raghav never disappoints the audience. He achieved another success with Season 2 of Save The Tigers. He deals the series well in delivering the message as well as balancing the story with comedy. The series is entertaining. The first three episodes are downright hilarious. The fourth episode is like a satire.

Mahi V Raghav's creation and Arun Kothapalli's direction are in sync with each other. The production values of Chinna Vasudeva Reddy and Mahi V Raghav are good. Ajay Arasada's music goes along with the story.

Performances: Priyadarshi, Abhinav Gomatam and Chaitanya Krishna steal the show with their best performances.

Priyadarshi is a show stopper in the series; the way he holds the emotions and explains to his daughter is worth watching. Jordar Sujatha, Deviani Sharma and Pavani Gangireddy lived in their characters, and did justice to their roles.

Seerat Kapoor did a fantastic job as Hamsalekha. Darshan, Gangavva, Avinash, and Rohini add value to the series with their performances.

Verdict: Save The Tiger is an emotional series that showcases the ups and down in a family. The bond between father and daughter has been portrayed so well. The series is filled with lots of emotions and comedy. Everyone surely fell in love with the series.
