Kuberaa Movie OTT Release: Prime Video to Stream Sekhar Kammula Film This Month?

Every now and then, there will come a movie that redefines how stories should be told, especially large-scale, commercial cinema, and Sekhar Kammula's mega-blockbuster Kuberaa falls into the same category. Every department in the film aced their roles to perfection, and the result was a gigantic blockbuster at the box office.

Kuberaa worked big time in the Telugu states and overseas. The only region where the movie underperformed was Tamil Nadu, where people didn't really appreciate the film. Despite this, Kuberaa is a profitable venture for the makers and emerged as one of the biggest hits for the two leads involved—Dhanush and Nagarjuna—in their respective careers.

It is also the highest-grossing movie in Sekhar Kammula's career. Kammula, who is known for his sweet relationship dramas, changed paths, took on an intense subject, and managed to score a hit out of it. Before the release, there were many speculations on Kuberaa's OTT partner, and there were even reports of Prime Video deciding the release date and hurrying up the post-production for Sekhar Kammula and his team.

Prime Video reportedly acquired the rights for a substantial price, and because of this, they are aiming to release the movie on their platform as soon as possible. Given the four-week window for Telugu movies, it is anticipated that Kuberaa will be available on Prime by the third week of July. While the OTT giant is yet to confirm a streaming date, fans can expect the movie to be out by July 18th or the week after that.
