Dharmendra’s Daughter Esha Deol Denies Death Reports, Says He is Stable and Recovering

Bollywood actress Esha Deol, daughter of veteran actor Dharmendra, has strongly denied rumours circulating about her father’s death. Addressing the false media reports on Tuesday, Esha clarified that the legendary actor is “stable and recovering” and urged everyone to respect the family’s privacy.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Esha Deol shared an official statement that read:

“The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa's speedy recovery.”

Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after his health reportedly worsened on Monday. The news quickly spread across social media, leaving fans and well-wishers deeply concerned. Several celebrities were also seen visiting the hospital to check on the veteran star.

Amid rising speculation, Sunny Deol, Dharmendra’s elder son, also issued a clarification through his team. The statement read:

“Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”

Earlier, Hema Malini, Dharmendra’s wife and veteran actress, reassured fans with an update on his condition. She wrote on Instagram:

“I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji, who is in the hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored, and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery.”

Known as Bollywood’s original “He-Man”, Dharmendra has delivered numerous iconic performances in a career spanning over six decades. His most memorable films include Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Phool Aur Patthar, Seeta Aur Geeta, Raja Jani, Jugnu, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Sholay, Pratiggya, and Dharam Veer, among others.
