AP & TG Christmas Holidays Official List: Check the Complete Details

The Christmas celebrations have begun in the Telugu states, and students are eagerly awaiting their holiday break. The government has already provided clarity regarding the Christmas holidays for this year.
In Telangana, as per the official calendar, December 25th and 26th have been declared as public holidays. During these two days, schools, colleges, and government offices will remain closed.
Additionally, December 24th is an optional holiday, and some schools may choose to declare a holiday on that day as well. It is particularly likely that Christian minority schools will observe a holiday on December 24th. If they do so, they might make up for the holiday on any other day.
In a related development, the Telangana government recently announced the list of regular and optional holidays for 2025, which includes 27 regular holidays and 23 optional holidays.
For the New Year on January 1st, a public holiday will be observed. In exchange, February 10th, the second Saturday of the month, will be considered a working day.
Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, the government has declared only December 25th as a public holiday. December 24th and 26th will be optional holidays.
