Laggam Time Hits Theatres Tomorrow, February 6, Amid Positive Pre-Release Buzz

With encouraging word-of-mouth building steadily, Laggam Time is all set to hit theatres on February 6, raising expectations among audiences looking for light-hearted, feel-good cinema.

The film stars Rajesh Meru and Navya Chityala in the lead roles and is directed by Prajoth K. Vennam. It is produced by K. Himabindu under the banner of 20th Century Entertainments and presented by K. Yashwanth Kumar.

Ahead of its theatrical release, the makers held a pre-release event in Hyderabad, where the cast and crew spoke about the journey of the film and their confidence in its content. Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Meru said Laggam Time stood out for him at a time when most scripts he heard were rooted in violence. “The moment I listened to this story, I knew I wanted to be part of it. We worked extremely hard to bring this film to life. Thanks to the media’s support, the film has reached audiences even before release. I strongly believe Laggam Time will entertain everyone, and I request audiences to watch and support the film in theatres from February 6,” he said.

Producer K. Himabindu described the film as a labour of passion, made under challenging circumstances. “We invested a lot of effort and resources into Laggam Time. All we ask is that audiences watch the film and honestly share their feedback. However, the current trend of frequent re-releases is affecting small producers and small films like ours. When re-releases occupy Fridays and weekends, new films struggle to find space—especially when weekends are crucial for us. That said, I can confidently say audiences will walk out of theatres laughing wholeheartedly after watching Laggam Time,” she remarked.

Director Prajoth K. Vennam said the film is a collective effort by a team of newcomers who approached the project with caution and commitment. “When a film is made entirely by newcomers, every detail matters. We ensured there were no compromises at any stage. I am grateful to Rajesh, Navya, producer Himabindu, Nellore Sudarshan and the entire team for standing by me. Laggam Time will connect with audiences across sections and will be appreciated by all,” he said.
