Legendary Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram celebrated his 58th birthday on April 17. To commemorate the special occasion, the producers of his upcoming film 'Thangalaan' presented fans with a fiery tribute video.

The video shows Vikram's powerful performance in the historical action drama. The trailer showcases the legendary actor performing intense action sequences while wielding various weapons and donning a rugged, gritty avatar.

Director PA Ranjith, who directed 'Thangam,' extended birthday wishes to Vikram on social media and shared a tribute video. The footage also features behind-the-scenes moments from the film's shooting.

"Thank you my team #Thangalaan for this fiery yet beautiful 'tribute'," Vikram wrote, expressing his gratitude for the special birthday gesture.

"Thangalaan" is one of the most highly anticipated Tamil films in production. The film's narrative unfolds against the backdrop of the Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka. Vikram plays the lead role, supported by an ensemble cast including Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone and Harikrishnan Anbudurai.

The film's screenplay has been co-written by Pa Ranjith, Tamil Prabha and Azhagiya Periyavanan. 'Thangalaan' is jointly produced by Studio Green and Neelam Productions, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, editing by RK Selva and cinematography by A Kishore Kumar. Initially scheduled for an April release, the makers have decided to postpone the film's theatrical debut due to the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
