The Hyderabad Traffic Police (HTP) has announced traffic restrictions around Darussalam on February 14 in view of the ‘Darussalam Day’ celebrations at the AIMIM headquarters.
According to officials, moderate traffic congestion is expected between 4 pm and 11 pm in and around the venue. To manage the flow of vehicles, diversions will be implemented at key junctions, including Alaska T-Junction, Aghapura Crossroad, MJ Bridge, and Ek Minar.
Vehicles arriving from areas such as Malakunta, Begum Bazaar, Mallepally, Mangalhat, Mehdipatnam, and Afzalgunj will be redirected through alternate routes to prevent traffic bottlenecks.
The police have also arranged designated parking spaces at Hockey Grounds in Masab Tank and Red Hills, as well as at the Veterinary Hospital premises in Seetharambagh. Parking for two-wheelers will be available at selected dargahs and along Pan Mandi Road.
Authorities have urged commuters, especially those planning to visit the Numaish exhibition at Nampally, to opt for public transport and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure smooth movement.
