Tamil Actor Daniel Balaji Passes Away
Kollywood actor Daniel Balaji, known for appearances in several Tamil films, has passed away due to a cardiac arrest in a private hospital in Chennai yesterday evening after experiencing chest pain. He died at the age of 48. He was featured in films Kaakha Kaakha, Polladhavan, Vettaiyadu Vilayaadu, and Vada Chennai.
He also acted in Telugu films like Gharshana, Chirutha, and Tuck Jagadish. The actor's final rites will be conducted today in Purasaiwalkam.
He was particularly known for his collaborations with director Gautam Menon and also appeared in Tamil serials and Malayalam films throughout his career.
As per reports, Daniel had pledged his eyes to be used for a noble purpose after his demise. The hospital authorities, fulfilling his wish for organ donation, have executed his will.
