Ram Charan is deeply immersed in the shoot of his much-awaited Pan-India film Peddi, and the excitement around the project continues to soar. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film promises to be a cinematic spectacle — with Charan undergoing intense physical transformations and exhaustive preparation to portray a never-before-seen character.

AR Rahman’s Magic in ‘Chakiri Chakiri’

In a thrilling update, the makers have dropped the promo for the film’s first single, Chakiri Chakiri. The clip opens with director Buchi Babu Sana expressing his admiration for Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman, before revealing the soul of the song.

He explains that the track captures a pivotal moment — when the protagonist, who lives amidst the hills, is instantly enchanted upon seeing a girl. That spark of emotion bursts into rhythm, dance, and joyous celebration. Interestingly, the hero fondly calls girls “Chakiri,” and that affectionate touch forms the heart of this vibrant number.

The promo offers a pulsating glimpse of Ram Charan at his energetic best, showcasing his signature dance moves to Rahman’s infectious and high-voltage beats. With its electrifying tempo and rustic vibe, the song promises to be a full-fledged visual and musical feast. Charan’s rugged look and the catchy hook step are already winning attention online.

The lyrical video of Chakiri Chakiri is set to release on November 7, and music lovers are eagerly awaiting the full track. The concept video has already turned heads for its fresh, creative idea, further raising expectations for both the song and the entire soundtrack.

Director Buchi Babu Sana once again demonstrates his exceptional musical sensibilities and promotional flair, ensuring Peddi stays in the spotlight ahead of release.

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor plays Ram Charan’s leading lady — his ‘Chakiri’ — while Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar essays a powerful supporting role. The ensemble cast also features Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in key roles.

On the technical front, Peddi brings together a stellar team: R. Rathnavelu handles the cinematography, while National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli takes charge of the film’s editing.

Peddi is set for a grand Pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday — a fitting date for what is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Indian films of the year.

Backed by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and prestigiously presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being mounted on a massive scale — perfectly matching the grand expectations set by its first glimpse.
