Born on March 17, 1975, in Chennai, Puneeth Rajkumar entered the film industry at a young age, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Dr. Rajkumar. His career as a lead actor began in 2002 with Appu, a film that catapulted him to stardom. However, his tryst with cinema began much earlier as a child artist, earning him the National Award for Best Child Artist for Bettada Hoovu.
