NTR First, Prabhas Next for Prashanth Neel? 'Salaar 2' Postponed?

Director Prashanth Neel, fresh off the release of the action film 'Salaar' starring Prabhas, appears to be shifting his focus to a new project with Jr. NTR. According to industry reports, Neel has decided to prioritize this upcoming NTR movie ahead of commencing work on the highly-anticipated 'Salaar 2'.

Just months after 'Salaar' hit theaters in December to decent box office numbers, plans were in motion for Neel to quickly reunite with Prabhas and begin filming the sequel. However, those 'Salaar 2' plans now seem to be on indefinite hold.

While no official reasons have been provided yet, sources suggest Neel chose to pivot to the NTR film for his next directorial venture. Shooting for this new movie is expected to get underway following its release later this year.

The postponement of 'Salaar 2' is sure to be disappointing news for fans of Prabhas who were eagerly anticipating the follow-up to 'Salaar' after its cliffhanger ending. With Neel's focus shifting elsewhere, the timeframe for 'Salaar 2' becoming a reality remains unclear.

In the meantime, Prabhas has no shortage of other big-budget films lining his schedule. He is currently wrapping production on 'Kalki 2898 AD' and will soon begin work on 'The Raja Saab' and additional projects with directors Hanu Raghavapudi and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
