Reita Faria Powell

As the first Asian and Indian woman to win Miss World in 1966, a 23 year old girl Reita Faria Powell, a native of Mumbai, Maharashtra, broke stereotypes and motivated future generations. Even after her incredible triumph, Reita made the decision to put her medical career first, exemplifying beauty with a purpose.

Reita Faria Powell followed her dream of becoming a doctor and went on to become a mother and practising physician.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Hailing from Mangalore, Karnataka, Aishwarya's victory in 1994 marked her as the second Indian to win the Miss World title, elevating her to iconic status in India and around the world.

In addition to her work in Indian film, Aishwarya is a goodwill ambassador for UNAIDS and actively participates in a number of charitable causes.

Diana Hayden

Diana Hayden, from Hyderabad, Telangana, won in 1997, continuing India's winning streak and demonstrating her elegance and confidence on the global stage.

Diana's accomplishments in the entertainment industry aside, she has a strong commitment to promoting women's empowerment and education.
In addition to pursuing a career in modelling, acting, and entrepreneurship, Diana Hayden is currently active in a number of charitable endeavours.

Yukta Mookhey

Hailing from Bangalore, Karnataka, Yukta Mookhey's victory in 1999 added another glorious chapter to India's success in the Miss World pageant.
Yukta has been actively involved in a number of charitable endeavours that support women's and children's rights in addition to her acting career.

At present Yukta Mookhey is involved in social work and has also worked as an actress in Indian cinema.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka, from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, rose to fame after her victory in 2000 and opened the door for a prosperous career in entertainment on both National and international level.

Aside from her success in the entertainment sector as a well-known actress, singer, and producer, Priyanka is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and a strong advocate for women's rights and education.

Manushi Chillar 

After a 17-year break, Manushi Chillar, a Haryana native, won the Miss World title in 2017, returning it to India and winning over millions of hearts with her elegance and charm.
