Fans of Telugu actor Balakrishna are up in arms after a video of Tamil filmmaker KS Ravikumar making fun of their actor surfaced on the internet. The video, which is viral on X platform, shows Ravikumar describing the Telugu actor in a way which made the people around burst into laughter. The fans of the Telugu actor have reacted strongly to the Tamil director’s comments saying the remark was not in good taste.

During a promotional event for Hansika Motwani’s upcoming Tamil film, Guardian, Ravikumar narrated his experience working with Balakrishna during the filming of a Telugu movie ‘Ruler’. He said that Balakrishna does not like to see people laughing on the set. The director mimicked Balakrishna's reaction when he sees someone laughing, ‘Why’s he laughing?’. He also said that “One of my assistant directors, Saravanan once turned the fan towards him and it shifted his wig a little. He got mad at him because he thought he was laughing and almost hit him.”

The actress Hansika Motwani alongwith the audience were spotted laughing. The filmmaker may have made the comment in jest, however, fans of Balakrishna who are not happy with the Tamil filmmaker’s not-so-funny comments, have started trending a hashtag #KSRaviKumar on X (formerly Twitter).

It may be recalled here that a video of Balakrishna hitting an assistant on head had gone viral on social media in 2017. He also made the assistant untie his shoelaces and remove the shoes. All this happened while he was talking to film's director KS Ravi Kumar.
