Actress Trolls Anant Ambani's Weight, Receives Backlash from Netizens!
Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant recently made headlines for her reaction to not being invited to Anant Ambani’s wedding. Rakhi criticized Anant’s overweight and questioned why she wasn’t invited to the grand ceremony.
The pre-wedding celebrations of Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant were held in Jamnagar, Gujarat, from March 1 to 3. The three-day-long celebrations concluded with a ‘Hastakshar’ program. Celebrities from various walks of life in the country and abroad were present for the grand event.
In a viral video, Rakhi asked why she was not invited to the ceremony. She said that she would have done all the chores, from cleaning the floor to washing and cooking, had she been invited to the wedding.
“Namaste Ambani ji, why was I not invited to the wedding? You have not seen my dance yet. Yet you have called so many people like singer Rihanna and all the Khans. Their dance was nothing compared to mine. I have danced to 'Munni Badnaam,' 'Tuk Tuk Dekhe,' 'Pardesiya,' and so on. I think you haven’t seen them. Despite you giving crores of rupees, Rihanna wore torn clothes. If you had given me even 10 Crores, I would have provided you with so many benefits. From cleaning the rooms of all your guests to washing and cooking, I would have done everything myself,” she said.
Rakhi then made derogatory comments about Junior Ambani’s weight. She asked Mukesh Ambani to send her son for five days so she could help him lose weight.
“Dear Ambani ji, Anant has gained a lot of weight. Send him to me for 5 days. I’ll make him as thin as a stick and send him back to you. I’ll also exercise with him. Give me some money for this and hire me. It will be my responsibility to make Anant into a size zero and send him back to you. If Anant loses weight, your daughter-in-law will be the happiest. She’s like a thin fruit. If he also becomes thin, it’ll be better for her,” she added.
The video has been widely criticized on social media, with users expressing disgust and disappointment at its content. Anant Ambani had gained weight due to health issues, as he himself claimed during the wedding. Earlier, Nita Ambani also explained that her son’s weight gain was due to the use of a certain type of steroids for health reasons. Netizens are slamming Rakhi for her remarks.
Rakhi Sawant has a history of making controversial statements and has been involved in various scandals in the past. She had legal issues with singer Mika Singh over a forced kiss and a public slapping incident with her ex-husband Abhishek.
