Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has released the detailed state District Selection Committee (APDSC) notification on Monday. Through the DSC-2024 recruitment drive, the state government is seeking to fill a total of 6,100 teaching posts in the state.

Out of 6,100 teaching posts, 2,280 are School Grade Teacher (SGT) posts, 2,299 School Assistant posts, 1,264 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts, 215 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts, and 42 Principal positions.

As per the notification, the registration process for DSC-2024 commenced on February 12. The last date for fee payment is February 21 and the deadline to submit the filled-in applications is February 22 and the results will be declared on April 7.

Candidates will be able to download their exam hall tickets starting March 5. The online examinations will be conducted from March 15 to 30 in two sessions each day. The morning session will be from 9:30 am to 12 noon. The afternoon session will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

The preliminary key for the DSC exams will be released on March 31. Candidates can submit objections on the preliminary key from April 1. The final key will be published on April 2. The upcoming DSC exams will follow the 2018 syllabus. All details are available on the official website - cse.ap.gov.in. For general category candidates, the maximum age limit is 44 years. The age limit has been relaxed by 5 years for reserved category candidates.
