According to an official, the incident happened on June 13 at around 5 p.m., when Mahender Saini, a 40-year-old resident of Haryana, was returning from Tronica City to Ballabhgarh in his car, accompanied by his driver Imran.

Near Seelampur crossing, a boy and a girl on a motorcycle approached victim and informed his driver that oil is leaking from the car.

"His associates were identified as Indrajeet, Sahil, and the girl Jyoti. On June 23, we received information that the Special Staff of the South District apprehended Sahil along with a juvenile, and Rs 15 lakhs were recovered from them. Efforts are being made to trace Indrajeet and Jyoti and recover the remaining cash from them," said the official.
