Jeedimetla Man Jumps To Death From ESI Hospital In Erragadda

A 32-year-old man jumped to death from the third floor of the ESI hospital in Erragadda on Thursday. According to police, the deceased identified as Sherkar was a resident of Jeedimetla and was a lorry driver. He was undergoing treatment for lung-related problems in the hospital. Doctors have confirmed that he was not COVID–19 patient.
“Unable to bear the pain, he jumped from the third floor of the hospital and killed himself. Upon receiving the information, a team from SR Nagar police station went to the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination,” said police inspector K.Saidulu, adding that no suicide note was found.
A case has been booked under section 174(suspicious death) of CrPc.
