November 29, Tadepalli: YSRCP President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting with leaders from the undivided Krishna district at the Tadepalli camp office, where he strongly criticized the current coalition government for its failures and governance lapses.
During the meeting, YS Jagan said that the state is currently being governed under a"Red Book Constitution," where systems are collapsing, dissent is being silenced, and false cases are being filed even for forwarding or posting messages about the government. He expressed concern over the deteriorating conditions in education, healthcare, and agriculture. Students are unable to pay college fees due to non-payment of reimbursements for over a year, Aarogyasri dues have mounted to Rs 2,200 crore, and ambulances under 108 and 104 services are not functioning.
Farmers are forced to sell their produce at Rs 300 less than the MSP, as the government fails to procure crops on time.
YS Jagan stated that the public is comparing the welfare-driven governance of his party to the failures of the current coalition government. He emphasized that his administration never made false promises and always delivered on commitments. In contrast, the present coalition government lured voters with unrealistic promises.
He expressed confidence that the people would soon realize the truth and support YSRCP again.
To strengthen the party, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that he would start district tours after Sankranti, treating each parliamentary constituency as a unit. From the end of January, he plans to visit districts every Wednesday and Thursday. During these visits, he will stay in the constituency and meet party cadre. On Wednesdays, he will interact with cadre from three assembly constituencies, and on Thursdays, he will meet cadre from four constituencies.
He explained that these two days would be fully dedicated to party cadre, allowing for direct interaction and support to build a stronger connection with the leadership. This program will be conducted under the initiative 'Jagananna with Party Cadre – Strengthening YSRCP.'
He stressed the importance of grassroots-level committees and utilizing social media to address public issues and question the government's failures.
YS Jagan urged party members to remain resilient in the opposition, stating that challenges in tough times build character and credibility. He concluded with a call to action, encouraging workers to ensure TDP is reduced to single digits in the next elections.
