In what appears to be a turnaround driven by political compulsions, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has buried the hatchet with former TDP MLA SVSN Varma and started praising him now. He had once accused Varma of running a cards club. What led to this sudden change of heart is Jana Sena leader is contesting the election from Pithapuram assembly seat and he desperately needs Varma's support to fulfill his dream to enter the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

The ongoing election campaign in the state has witnessed a dramatic shift in Pawan Kalyan's stance towards Varma, The same Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan had brutally targeted Varma and also levelled sensational allegations against him. He had questioned how an MLA could run a pekata club. However, with an election win in mind, Pawan Kalyan forgot his earlier criticism and visited Varma's residence on Sunday. He is learnt to have discussed campaigning strategies with him. He even called Varma a "hero" in a bid to secure his support.

However, Pawan Kalyan's U-turn has not gone down well with a section of netizens, who have taken to social media platforms to troll him for his blatant flip-flop driven by political needs. Sarcastic remarks questioning whether Varma's alleged cards club will be shut down if Jana Sena leader wins the elections or whether Pawan Kalyan himself will join the club as a partner have been making rounds on social media.
